Rupee down 12 paise against USD
Mumbai/UNI: The Rupee on Thursday slipped by 12 paise to 75.18 against the US Dollar in opening trade on rising demand for US Dollar by bankers and importers, dealers at the Forex Market said.
The local unit was seen weak on a firm dollar against other world currencies amid weak stock markets in early trade.
The Rupee registered days high and low at 75.20 and 75,13 respectively.
