Rupee recovers 21 paise against USD

Mumbai/UNI: The Rupee on Friday bounced back by 21 paise to close at 73.44 against the US Dollar on fresh selling of US Dollar by bankers and exporters, dealers at the Forex Market said.

Sliding by 13 paise on Thursday,, the local unit jumped by 31 paise to 73.34 in early trade and finished at 73.44.

gaining by 21 paise as compared to its previous close.

The Rupee improved owing to weak Dollar against other world currencies,dealers added.

The rupee registered intra days high and low at 73.50 and 73.30 respectively, he added.
