Kolkata / New Delhi, Mar 1 (IBNS): Tractor brand, International Tractors Limited (ITL), makers of Sonalika tractors, on Thursday said it has recorded total sales of 8000 units (Domestic + Exports) in the month of February as against 5549 units same period last year.

Growth in domestic and exports stood at 50% and 18% respectively.

Commenting on the same, Raman Mittal, Executive Director Sonalika ITL stated, ““The sentiments of farmers continue to be positive on account of government’s pro farmer policies, and expectations of better rabi crop yield, resulting in phenomenal sales."

"Moreover, the demand for farm mechanization continues to be robust to address various on and off-field applications. Along with tractors, we offer new implements like Rotavators to help double farmers’ income through enhancing productivity, which has led us to be chosen by Government of India as the contributing partner with Niti Aayog for doubling farmer’s income by year 2022," Mittal said.
