Union Budget clueless : Mamata Banerjee

| | Feb 01, 2017, at 09:26 pm
Kolkata, Feb 1 (IBNS) : Slamming the Union Budget, presented in Parliament on Wednesday, West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee said it is "clueless, useless and baseless".

"A controversial #Budget2017 which is clueless, useless, baseless, missionless and actionless. Heartless," Banerjee said in her inimitable style through her tweeter handle.

Mamata-led Trinamool Congress has  boycotted the first two days of the Budget Session to protest against demonetisation.

Taking to twitter, Banerjee called the Budget "controversial" and said it does not present a roadmap for the country.

She said the Government lost all its credibility.

"Tax payers still have restrictions on withdrawals. Remove all restrictions immediately. And where are the figures for #DeMonetisation?, she tweeted.

"Misleading. Full of jugglery of numbers and hollow words which mean nothing," Mamata said.
