Bihar: Corona positive cases rise to 38

Patna/UNI:  The total number of Corona positive cases has risen to 38 in Bihar so far with the detection of four new cases.

Principal Secretary of Health department Sanjay Kumar said here today that four more new cases have been detected in the state late last night taking the total number of cases to 38. Altogether, six new cases were reported yesterday after two days as no case was reported during this period, he added.

Mr Kumar said that four new cases were reported from Siwan till late last night. All the four -- three males and one female were relatives of a youth who was first tested positive for Corona virus in Siwan district and had returned to his native village in Raghunathpur from Middle East recently, he stated.

He said that two new cases were reported from Begusarai. Both were youths in the age group of 15 to 16 years, he informed.

A total of 15 of 38 Corona positive cases reported so far, were declared cured and discharged from various hospitals in the state.
