Bihar reports 15 new COVID-19 cases

Patna/UNI: With detection of 15 new cases, the number of Corona positive cases has increased to 1193 while death toll reached 8 in Bihar.

Principal Secretary of Health Department Sanjay Kumar said here that the number of Corona positive cases had reached 1193 in Bihar so far after 15 new cases coming to light. Of them, 14 were from Rohtas and 1 from Patna, he added.

Kumar said that of the 14 cases detected in Rohtas, three were females of 22, 25 and 6 years of age while 11 males were 36, 23, 31, 31, 21, 18, 50, 66, 50, 40 and 28 years of age, adding that a 28-year-old female was found Corona positive in Patna.

With 14 cases reported from Rohtas, the total number of Corona positive cases had reached 91 in the district. In Patna, the total number of Corona positive cases is 107.

Number of Corona positive cases in Munger is 125, while the figure is 67 in Nalanda, followed by 59 in Buxar, 54 in Begusarai and 53 in Madhubani. Rest are in other districts of Bihar.

A total of eight people infected with Corona virus had lost their lives in the state so far.
