Chinese mainland reports 20 new imported COVID-19 cases

Beijing/Xinhua: The Chinese mainland reported 20 new imported COVID-19 cases Sunday, bringing the total number of imported cases to 2,921, the National Health Commission said Monday.

Of the new imported cases, ten were reported in Shanghai, three in Sichuan, two each in Inner Mongolia and Fujian, and one each in Shanxi, Jiangsu and Guangdong, the commission said in its daily report.

Among all the imported cases, 2,713 had been discharged from hospitals after recovery, and 208 remained hospitalized, with one in severe condition, the commission said.

No deaths had been reported from the imported cases.
