Delhi COVID: recoveries cross 1 lakh mark

New Delhi/UNI: The recoveries from the COVID 19 on Saturday crossed 1 lakh mark in the national capital, as 1973 patients were cured /discharged in the city during the past one day, the state health bulletin said.

Delhi's recovery rate has improved to 83.29 per cent, the Delhi government data informed here, and the total number of recovered Covid patients in the city now stand at 101274.

However, the city has recorded a spike of 1475 fresh infections in the past 24 hours, which has taken the city's tally to 121582.

Meanwhile, active cases in the capital have decreased further and presently stand at 16711, the government sata said.

Pandemic deaths across the city til date have now reached 3597, after 26 more people lost their battle to the lethal virus since Friday.

The patients under home isolation have further dropped a bit more in number as compared to Friday, and now, the figure currently stands at 9136.

There are as many as 678 containment zones across the city at present after ten more places were added to the list in the past 24 hours.

Total number of tests done so far in the national capital till date stand at 798783, the state health bulletin said here.
