Delhi records 86 new Covid19 cases, highest in 5 months

New Delhi/IBNS: Delhi Saturday reported 86 new Covid cases, the highest in five months, recording a steady rise in infections amid global alert over Omicron.

The positivity rate, which is the number of COVID-19 tests that come back positive, stood at 0.13 percent.

The national capital had no Covid-19 linked death today, becoming the 10th consecutive day to record no casualties.

There are currently 484 active COVID-19 patients in Delhi with 203 in home isolation.

The city has recorded 22 omicron cases as 12 new cases linked to the new variant were reported on Friday.

The number of Covid cases recorded in Delhi so far reached 14,42,090. Over 14.16 lakh patients have recovered from the disease.
