India records 11,106 new COVID-19 cases in past 24 hours

New Delhi: India recorded 11,106 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, as per data released by the Ministry of Health on Friday.

During the same period, India recorded 459 deaths due to the virus.

Recovery Rate currently stands at 98.28 percent.

"12,789 recoveries in the last 24 hours increases Total Recoveries to 3,38,97,921," read a statement issued by the Ministry of Health.

India's Active caseload stands at 1,26,620.

Active cases account for less than 1 percent of total cases.

It currently stands at 0.37 percent.
