India records 472 COVID-19 infected cases in 24 hours: Ministry of Health

New Delhi/IBNS: India has recorded 472 COVID-19 positive cases in the past 24 hours, Health Ministry official said on Sunday.

The number of COVID-19 cases in the country now stands at 3374.

Lav Aggarwal, Joint Secy, Health Ministry, said during a press conference: "Total 79 deaths have been reported."

"11 additional deaths have been reported since yesterday. 267 persons have recovered," he said.

The virus, which is believed to have been first reported from China, has now touched major countries in the world.
