India's COVID-19 tally nears 86000-mark, death toll stands at 2752

New Delhi/IBNS: The death toll due to the COVID-19 outbreak in India touched 2752, revealed data released by the Ministry of Health on Saturday.

Meanwhile, the country has registered  85,940 cases.

The number of cases is more than China, the place where the virus is believed to have originated, which reported  82,933 cases.

In India, there are 53,035 active cases.

So far, 30,152 people been cured or discharged from hospital.
