Israel's COVID-19 death toll rises to 15

Jerusalem/Xinhua/UNI: Israel reported two new death cases from the novel coronavirus, bringing the death toll to 15, the Ministry of Health said Sunday.

The total confirmed cases in Israel reached 4,247, after 628 new cases were detected on Sunday.

The two deceased women, 94 and 84 respectively, had both suffered from many other diseases, the ministry noted.

Of the 500 patients being treated in hospitals across Israel, 74 are in serious condition and 82 in moderate condition.

Of the other 3,732 patients, 2,100 are treated in home quarantine, 551 in hotels converted into treatment facilities, 132 have recovered and the remaining 949 will be treated at home, hotel or hospital according to decisions to be made soon.
