Maharashtra: 465 test positive in Marathwada, 12 die

Aurangabad/UNI: As many as 465 fresh cases of novel coronavirus and 12 deaths were reported across the Marathwada region of Maharashtra in past 24 hours, sources said on Friday.

The worst-hit Auranagabad district reported highest 334 new cases along with 8 fatalities followed by 53 cases in Latur with two deaths, 43 cases and one death in Nanded, 13 cases in Parbhani district, 11 cases and one death in Jalna, 6 cases in Beed, three cases in Osmanabad and two cases in Hingoli.

In view of numbers of cases in region - Aurangabad, Jalna, parts of Parbhani, parts of Beed and Osmanabad have been put under curfew to break the chain of corona.
