Maharashtra: 74 fresh cases surface in Aurangabad, infection tally rises to 823

Aurangabad/UNI: As many as 74 fresh cases of the novel coronavirus were reported on Friday, taking the infection tally in the district to 823, health officials informed.

Of 823 cases that include 20 fatalities, 212 patients have been cured so far.

The sources at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) said that the virus has now started spreading to new regions in the district as well as numerous cases are surfacing from there.

A break up is as follows: N-6, CIDCO (2), Budhilen (1), Roshan Gate (1), Sanjay Nagar (1), Sadat Nagar (1), Bhimnagar, Bhavsinghpura (2), Vasundhara Colony (1), Vrindavan Colony (3), Nyay Nagar (7), Kailas Nagar (1), Pundalik Nagar (8), Silk Mill Colony (6), Himayat Nagar (5), Chaus Colony (1), Bhavani Nagar (4), Hussain Colony (15), Prakash Towns (1).

'Shiv Colony Street No. 5, Pundalik Nagar (1), Hussain Colony, street no. 5 (2), Rahemania Colony (2), Baijipura (5), Hanuman Nagar (1), Hussain Nagar (1), Amar Society (1), New Hanuman Nagar, Street No. 1, Durga Mata Mandir (1),' health data revealed.
