Maharashtra: Kolhapur reports 17 new COVID-19 cases

Kolhapur/UNI:  Seventeen new COVID-19 cases were detected here on Monday, taking this the total number of Novel coronavirus patients in this district to 607, the Chhatrapati Pramila Raje Hospital confirmed.

Among the newly-infected individuals, six hailed from Shahuwadi, four belonged to Chandgad, three were from Ajara, and one each case was reported from Bhudargad, Hatkanangale, Kagal and Radhanagari tehsils.

Out of these, 137 people have been discharged after being cured of the contagion, while six have succumbed to the deadly virus, till date.
