Maharashtra: Nashik reports 15 new COVID-19 cases; 814 cured till now

Nashik/UNI: Fifteen new COVID-19 cases, including two senior citizens and an infant, were detected here, stated an official report on Sunday.

Among the newly-infected individuals, nine are from the city areas, five-rural parts and lone patient from Malegaon, it added.

Till now, this district has tallied 1,187 cases, out of which, the highest 766 are from Malegaon followed by 192 in the city limits. The remaining ones' are from rural parts (174) and district non-natives (55).

Malegaon, which has emerged as a hotspot, also accounts for the highest 48 pandemic fatalities followed by Nashik city (8), rural parts (3) and two district non-natives.

Meanwhile, 814 persons have been discharged after being cured of the contagion. Presently, there are 312 active cases, report apprised.
