Maharashtra: Aurangabad's Covid tally crosses 1,000-mark

Aurangabad,Maharashtra/UNI: The number of Corona-infected patients in Aurangabad district has touched 1,073, registering 51 fresh cases on Tuesday morning, the district administration said.

Among the cases, 37 males were infected by the highly contagious disease.

The details of patients found in Aurangabad district today are as follows; Rohidas Nagar (1), Shivshankar Colony (1), Jadhavwadi (1), Jatwada Road (1), Himayat Bagh (1), Kiradpura (4), Pundalik Nagar (1), Mukundwadi (1), Naregaon (1), Jaibhim Nagar (1), Sanjay Nagar (1), Rahim Nagar (1), Kailas Nagar (1), Gadal Nagar (1), Sadat Nagar, street no. 6 (4), Shivneri Colony (1), Vidhiya Nagar, Seven Hill (1), Street no. 25, Baijipura (4), Durga Mata Colony, Nyay Nagar (1), Maqsood Colony (1), Jadhavwadi (1), street no. 23, Baijipura (2), street no. 3, Baijipura (1), Satara Gaon (3), Adarsh Colony, Garkheda (3), Garkheda Premises (1), Mitra Nagar (1), Mill Corner (1), Shivshakti Nagar, Mukundwadi (1), Mukund Nagar, Mukundwadi (1), others (4) and Fulshivara (3) in Gangapur taluka are corona-affected.

This includes 17 women and 34 men, they added.

On the brighter side, so far 33 fatalities were reported and 292 were cured from the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) in the district.

Due to the large number of cases identifying day to day, every efforts has been taken by the administration including total strict lockdown across the city was already enforced up to May 20 giving only exemption to medical services.
