Mumbai: Care24 announces emergency ambulance service during Diwali

| | Oct 27, 2016, at 09:27 pm
Mumbai, Oct 27 (IBNS): As the city of dreams gears up to revel in the festivities of Diwali, Care 24, a Mumbai based home healthcare service provider, has announced Emergency Ambulance Service for burn victims.

Launched in association with 1298 Ambulance, the emergency ambulance service can be availed on helpline number – 022-24061600 through Care24 for any major burn injuries or mishaps during the festival.

Commenting on this association, Vipin Pathak, Co-founder & CEO, Care24 said, “Living independently in metro cities these days can be risky for everyone, be it the adults or senior citizens. Moreover, Diwali is the time when we come across a lot of burn injuries. In such crisis situations, finding the right number to call an ambulance in a rush becomes tough. Many might not be aware of how to contact the closest hospital with advanced emergency care facilities."

"By joining hands with 1298 Ambulance, which operates advanced and basic life support ambulances, we will be able to provide total monitored emergency medical assistance during any crisis and help in saving precious lives during the 'golden hour',” he added.

In India, burn injuries are common during the festival of Diwali, where traditionally, firecrackers form an indispensable part of the celebrations.

Although, simple burns can be managed in primary care but complex and major burns warrant a specialist and skilled professional approach in a hospital for a successful clinical outcome.
