Mysuru: Labour seriously injured when a wild elephant attacked him at H D Kote

Mysuru, May 4 (UNI) A labour was seriously injured when a Tusker attacked him while he was going to work place at Madapura village in H D Kote Taluk in the District today.

Police on Saturday said that the victim was identified as Hanumantharaya hailed from Andhra Pradesh.

He was working in a canal construction work on the outskirts of the Madapura village and he was on his way to work place when the elephant attacked him.

He was immediately rushed to Hospital and his condition is stated to be serious.

Forest officials visited the spot and trying to send back the elephant to the forest.
