New Delhi: With over 40,000 registered in a single-day, the number of fresh COVID-19 cases in India now stands at 1118042.
India recorded 40,425 cases in the past 24 hours, the Ministry of Health data revealed.
The death toll due to the disease is currently 27497.

The number of recovered persons from the disease is 700086.
