Punjab: Amritsar reports two positive Coronavirus cases

Amritsar/IBNS: The Punjab government on Saturday confirmed two positive coronavirus cases in Amritsar, media reports said.

They are currently admitted to Government Medical College and Hospital.

They reportedly travelled to Amritsar from Delhi on a flight.

An official told The Tribune, “We are trying to track all passengers and crew. All passengers, crew and their families will be traced and kept under observation.” 

Civil Surgeon Dr Prabhdeep Kaur Johaltold the newspaper that samples of the two patients were sent to AIIMS, New Delhi, which confirmed the corona viral infection.
