Sachin bats for conservation of tigers

Mumbai, July 29 (IBNS): Indian's sporting icon and cricketing legend, Sachin Tendulkar on Friday urged people to join the save tiger drive.

Celebrating International Tiger Day on Friday, Tendulkar tweeted, "Tigers are our national pride, lets all come together to #SaveOurTigers from becoming extinct.#InternationalTigerDay."

The population of these big cats is fairly low in India, though it has shown signs of growth in the last few years.
