Woman gives birth to quadruplets in K'taka

Vijayapura/UNI: A woman gave birth to quadruplets at a private hospital in Vijayapura city on Saturday, hospital sources said.


According to them, Dalibai, 28, of Raj Ratan colony started to have the labour pain on Friday after which she was admitted to hospital.

"Dalibai gave birth to four baby child, two males and two females, all babies including mother were safe and healthy'', Gynaecologist Asha Madnoor, who carried the surgery said.

"We will provided treatment to the babies for one week in our hospital and then hand over the babies to their mother and family. The mother was really happy to see her four babies healthy'', she added.
