Woman tests corona positive, total number touches two in Kolhapur

Kolhapur/UNI: A woman, family member of corona positive youth, who came from Pune, tested positive of corona disease in the city.

In a official press release circulated by district administration on Sunday night, a woman, sister of corona positive youth, who had came from Pune in Bhaktipuja Nagar of the city on March 20 and tested positive on March 27, was tested positive as her swab samples report came as positive. With today's positive case, the total number of corona positive rose to two while another positive woman from Pethvadgaon village of the district, counted in Sangli district following she admitted in Miraj civil hospital.

District health department had send swab samples of total 36 peoples including five family members of corona positive youth, from which his sister's report came as positive of coronavirus while other 35 peoples including four members of youth's family, came as negative. However, all these 36 peoples were under observation in institutional quarantined centre in the city.
