Acropolis Mall inaugurates three-day long Mango festival in Kolkata

Kolkata, Jul 9 (IBNS):  Acropolis Mall has inaugurated a three-day long Mango festival at the Atrium, the ground floor at its premises to celebrate the bliss of the season with the seasonal fruit Mango.

The objective of the festival to present the people of Kolkata with an array of delectable delicacies replete in the taste of mango with much fanfare and fun.

Actress Sonalee Choudhri was present at the occasion as the chief guest in presence of Saket Mohta, Managing Director, Merlin Group of Companies, the developers of Acropolis , Ibiza Resort, Princeton Club and Homeland Mall.

Prasun Bhowmick , member of Child rights organization, Govt of West Bengal and actress Reshmi Bhattacharya were present at the occasion as Guests of Honour.

The festival witnessed a Mango Eating Competition among the children of Turnstone Global, an NGO working for the welfare of less privileged children residing in the slum area of Kolkata and suburb.

Twenty children enjoyed the competition while enjoying the taste of delicious mangoes. Wow Momo has treated the children with sumptuous dishes at the food court of Acropolis Mall.

On the occasion, Saket Mohta, Managing Director, Merlin Group of Companies , the developers of Acropolis , Ibiza Resort, Princeton Club, Homeland Mall presented educational stationary to the children of Turnstone Global as well.

Commenting on the occasion, Saket Mohta , Managing Director, Merlin Group of Companies , the developers of Acropolis , Ibiza Resort, Princeton Club, Homeland Mall and a plethora of residential projects all across the city and beyond said , “We at Acropolis Mall, always put an effort to provide citizens of Kolkata innovative experience that they can cherish. We are also committed to the welfare of children in the field of education and health , that is in line with our corporate philosophy. We hope the children of Turnstone Global have enjoyed the day at our festival here."

The mango Mania, as the event is christened , has witnessed plethora of delectable mango delicacies rustled up by the chefs at ten stalls at the atrium of Acropolis Mall. Lip smacking dishes and desserts including Mnago Grilled Sandwich, Green Mango Corn Chat, Mango Pitha, Mango Pakoda, Manngo waffle, Mango Kulfi and much more would pamper the taste buds of foodies at Acropolis for the next three day s till 11th July,2019.
