Faridabad, Haryana, Oct 29 (IBNS): As the festival of lights is approaching, students of Apparel Training & Design Centre (ATDC) celebrated Diwali on Friday.

ATDC Faridabad organized an exhibition-cum-sale “Creative Hunt” for two days at its campus.

Students from all streams displayed their creativity through beautifully and artistically designed diyas, gift envelopes, photo frames and candles.

More than 100 students participated and put up their stalls.

Vijay Jindal, MD, SPL Industries, graced the occasion as the chief guest.

Speaking on the occasion, Tarundeep Gill, Principal of ATDC Faridabad, said, “Creativity is a way of self-expression and we want each and every student to bring out the model of their creative acumen.”

ATDC Gurgaon also hosted a rangoli, diya and best ethnic dress competition on the occasion of Diwali.

Around 50 students participated in the competition and showcased their creativity.

“It was great to see the students enthusiastically participate in the competition. All the students were happy and celebrating Diwali to their fullest,” remarked Shalini Sharma, Principal, ATDC-Gurgaon.

Divya, a student of ATDC said, “The Diwali celebrations have been full of fun and learning. We got the opportunity to show a little bit of who we are through our creations."

Students from other colleges and schools also visited the exhibition.
