Award winning play ‘Dinner with friends’ to be performed in Mumbai

Mumbai, Apr 19 (IBNS) The Indian adaptation of the Pulitzer award winning play by Donald Margulies, ‘Dinner with Friends’ to be performed this weekend.

Boasting of a talented cast comprising of Perizaad Zorabian Irani, Achint Kaur, Vinay Jain and Joy Sengupta and Directed by the acclaimed director Feroz Khan of ‘Tumhari’ Amrita and ‘Gandhi My Father’ fame, Dinner with Friends is a story based on the complexities of marriage.

The play revolves around the lives of four friends, who are two married couples, and the eventual break- up of one, Harsh and Dia (Joy Sengupta and Achint Kaur).The play also delves into the impact the divorce has on the stable and secure marriage of Vikram and Maya (Vinay Jain and Perizaard Zorabian Irani), who find themselves re-examining their own relationship!

‘Dinner With Friends’ is going to be performed this Sunday, Apr 24 at the NCPA Mumbai.
