New Delhi/UNI: The University Grants Commission has constituted a task force to monitor concerns of students, teachers, and institutions related to examinations and other academic activities arising due to this pandemic and redress them accordingly.

According to the guidelines issued by UGC on April 29, universities have been requested to establish a cell for handling grievances of the students and notify the same to the students.

All universities have been advised to plan their academic activities keeping in view the safety and interest of all stakeholders, giving highest priority to the health of all concerned, while adopting and implementing the UGC guidelines on examinations and academic calendar, an official release here said.

The universities and colleges have been asked to upload a copy of the public notice on their official websites and share it with the teaching and student community via e-mail and other digital media.
