Google ushers in new year with an adorable doodle

New Delhi, Jan 1 (IBNS): As Tuesday ushered in a new year, popular search engine Google did not lag behind to delight netizens with an adorable doodle on its homepage marking the start of a new almanac.

Depicting the doodle with two purple elephants, Google shared: “Well, it’s time to call out the elephant(s) in the room: it’s out with the old and in with the new! Here’s to a bright year ahead.”

Google used the same two baby elephants on Dec 31 to mark the end of the year.

The first baby elephant, who was yesterday depicted as blowing balloons, was on Tuesday seen jumping on them happily.

The second elephant is seen pointing his trunk towards the 2019 popcorn banner.

Google is always prompt in sharing meaningful doodles on its homepage on all important occasions as well to mark birth anniversaries of important people globally.
