San Francisco, Aug 30 (IBNS) Internet sensation Grumpy Cat will be the first feline to have her statue installed at the Madame Tussauds Wax Museum, confirmed their San Francisco department.

“Madame Tussauds is delighted to announce that irreverent Internet sensation Grumpy Cat will be the first ever cat to be immortalized in the attraction’s history,” the museum wrote on their official website.

Grumpy Cat rose to fame after her photo was posted on Reddit on September 22, 2012.

With over 296,000 followers on Twitter, she is one of the most sought after animals online.

According to the cat’s owner Tabatha Bundesen, Grumpy Cat owes her permanent grumpy facial expressions to an under-bite and feline dwarfism.
