Kolkata/IBNS: Realising that kids, despite the easing of the pandemic-related lockdown, are still stuck at home and are lacking fun activities, ITC Hotels has devised a virtual summer camp for them.

Called ‘Ollie’s Summer Camp’, the ongoing virtual summer camp is offering a host of interactive activities for children which will help them develop skills and hobbies such as painting, cooking, gardening among others.

Each day, the activities begin with two interesting topics which can be viewed through short videos on ITC Hotels’ and Welcomhotels’ social media handles.

Highlights include interactive yoga classes to no-heat cooking to painting and home gardening tips from the brand’s  in-house subject experts.

These enable kids to learn new skills that they can practice and enjoy with their families from the safety of their homes.

The world’s largest LEED platinum certified chain, ITC Hotels along with Welcomhotel has introduced Ollie’s Club at ITC Hotels and Ollie’s Corner at Welcomhotel respectively.

They are named after the Olive Ridley turtle, one of ocean’s abundant tiny treasures, that are found visiting Morjim, Galgibag and Agonda Beach in Goa along with Gahirmatha Beach in Odisha in January and February.

ITC Grand Goa, ITC Grand Bharat (Gurgaon), ITC Rajputana (Jaipur), ITC Royal Bengal (Kolkata) and ITC Mughal (Agra) are some of the popular destinations that used to draw Ollie fans, and according to the hotel, are expected to open soon.

According to a release from the hotel, parents are assured of the safety and hygiene of their children through the ‘WeAssure’ programme designed in collaboration with medical professionals and disinfection experts brings enhanced levels of hygiene & safety.

There is no pre-registration required to participate in Ollie’s Virtual Summer Camp.
