Hollywood celebrity Dame Munni Irone emphasizes inner spirituality and sustainable infrastructure at NEHU session

Shillong/IBNS: Dr. Dame Munni Irone, a Hollywood celebrity, philanthropist, and author, has emphasized the importance of inner spirituality and peace for economic growth, during an interactive session at North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU).

She shared her experience of working with the Centre for strengthening India's economy, stated The Shillong Times.

In the program, Irone stressed the need to develop sound and sustainable infrastructure through global partnership, enabling NEHU to attract investors for research, innovation, entrepreneurship, and skill development.

She suggested that techniques such as meditation, breathing, and stress-free living are essential keys to success in today's competitive environment for teachers and students.

NEHU Vice Chancellor PS Shukla highlighted the university's thrust areas of work and research, underscoring its interdisciplinary teaching and research in agriculture, biotechnology, data sciences, cultural and human sciences, art, philosophy, music, religion, and all major academic disciplines.
