Lavazza workshop in Kolkata combines the week of Valentine with caffeine love

Kolkata/IBNS: Italian coffee brand Lavazza started Valentine's Week in Kolkata with an exclusive coffee session and workshop for the caffeine enthusiasts in the City of Joy on Tuesday.

Kolkata/IBNS: Italian coffee brand Lavazza started Valentine's Week in Kolkata with an exclusive coffee session and workshop for the caffeine enthusiasts in the City of Joy on Tuesday.

With the objective of spreading some love for coffee, Lavazza India has curated a project which includes exclusive training sessions and a survey to gather interesting insights around coffee drinking habits among the Indian millennial and Gen-Z population.

The workshop was conducted by expert Lavazza trainers and it involved coffee enthusiasts and the media across three main cities including Bengaluru, New Delhi and Kolkata.

The aim of each was to educate coffee lovers on the cup of ‘café latte’. The two-hour workshop provided information on the origin of latte and the processes involved in order to brew and consume latte in the right way. 

The objective of the survey ‘Brewing Conversations’  is built to understand how millennials and Gen-Z relate to coffee in their daily relationships and lives.

The workshop in Kolkata was conducted by Lavazza's Head Trainer Abdul Sahid Khan.The session captured techniques of making a perfect cup of latte and other varieties of coffee and tips about what equipment were used.

It also taught how to make it perfectly at home and also showed  the easy way of latte art by simple drawing on its top. The aim of the workshop is to provide the knowledge about the latte so that one can make a good cup of love for their special ones.

Branded, as "Italy's Favorite Coffee", the company claims that 16 million out of the 20 million coffee purchasing families in Italy chooses Lavazza.

Among its offerings today are products such as: Qualità Oro, Qualità Rosso, Club, Caffè Espresso, Perfetto Espresso, Caffè Crema, Gran Aroma Bar, Super Crema, Crema e Gusto, Crema e Aroma, Top Class, Grand'Espresso, and coffee capsules A Modo Mio, "Espresso Point" and Lavazza Blue.
