Max presents Elite Model Look India in Kolkata

After last year’s success, Elite Model look India launched this year’s contest in Kolkata.

The contest reached the city after getting tremendous response from other metros, Delhi, Chandigarh, Chennai and Bangalore.

Contestants were shortlisted from hundreds of contenders based on various criteria like their ramp walk, height and photogenic appeal. These contestants will compete in the final round in National Casting along with the contestant shortlisted from other cities.

The jury consists of renowned fashion director, Marc Robinson, model Sanea Sheikh and fashion designer Abhishek Dutta.

Among the selected contestants were Vatsal Jha, Kushal Mehta, Raviraj Shaw, Diti Saha, Soumi Das, Srimoyee De and Shruti Priya.

National Casting Finalists will undergo a week's grooming sessions by experts including Marc Robinson and Erika Oliveira, an Elite Model and winner of prestigious Golden Globe for 'Best Model Female'.

Vasanth Kumar, Executive Director, Max, said, “With the launch of Elite Model Look India 2015, Max reinforces its democratizing fashion and giving the Indian models the exposure to establish themselves in the International circuit.”

Speaking at the event Marc Robinson said, “We are here to select new and young models with the initiative of the fashion brands like Max and Elite Model Look. It is a great opportunity for the young male and female models as well."

The Grand Finale of Elite Model Look India 2015 is scheduled to take place in Delhi in September.
