MICA announces FDP on business research and analytics
Ahmedabad, Apr 23 (IBNS): MICA on Thursday announced a five-day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on "Business Research and Analytics†from June 15 to 19, 2015 at its campus in Ahmedabad.
Led by MICA faculty Dr. Rasananda Panda and Dr. Rohit Trivedi, the FDP will provide hands on experience to the participants in understanding the process of conducting basic as well as advanced management research with relevance to Indian Corporate.
The increasing complexity of managerial decision making in the Indian Corporate has resulted into the acute need for more in-depth understanding of issues at hand and to find the optimum solution to the business problem.
FDP on "Business Research and Analytics” is designed in such a way so as to give exposure to the participants about research problems formulation, application of appropriate research design and skills of data generation, data processing and statistical analysis at both basic and advanced levels. Application of concepts and frameworks will be through case analysis, discussions, software training, exercises and lectures.
The programme is designed and conducted by faculty at MICA who possess rich experience in academia, industry and consulting.
Elaborating on what the FDP offers, Panda said, “It is the faculty who not only trains the corporate executives at the beginning of their career but also at a later stage through relevant domain specific tailor made programmes pertaining to research and analytics. Therefore, it has become imperative for teachers in the management and related fields to have an in-depth understanding of the research process and the inferences thereto. This FDP is an attempt towards the same.”
