Kolkata: Leading test preparatory services company Aakash Institute is gearing up for the annual Aakash National Talent Hunt Exam (ANTHE) 2021 scholarship exams to be held between Dec 4 and 12 across 24 states and Union territories.

The company, for the first time in 12 years, will organize a free trip to NASA for the top five achievers along with one parent respectively. This was announced at a press conference by Debajyoti Majumder, Dean, Aakash Institute, here on Thursday.

Aakash Educational Services Limited (AESL) - the national leader in the rapidly-growing test preparatory services sector - is set to offer up to 100% scholarships for Class VII-XII students to the Institute’s most sought after NEET and IIT-JEE coaching programmes for aspiring doctors and engineers.

Over two lakh students are expected to appear in the online and offline exams and vie for the scholarships. In addition to scholarship on tuition fee, top scorers will also be given cash awards.

“The ANTHE scholarships, currently in its 12th edition, is aimed at recognizing merit, especially among the students from the lower-income group and ensuring that monetary constraints should not stand in the way of realising their dreams to become doctors and engineers.

"The objective of ANTHE, started in 2010, has been to bring high value coaching programmes to the unreached and the deserving students across the country,” said Majumdar.

As an additional benefit, students qualifying ANTHE will also get the Meritnation school booster course free of cost. Meritnation is a subsidiary of AESL.

Bina Agarwal, Chief Coordinator, Aakash Institute, said: “Aakash Institute was started in 1988 with 12 students and has grown to 220 centres across the country with a 2.5 lakh student base. There are eight centres in West Bengal and two information centres in Burdwan and Malda."

The results of ANTHE 2021 will be declared on Jan 02, 2021 for Class X-XII students, and on Jan 04, 2021 for Class VII-IX students.

Aakash Educational Services Limited (AESL) provides comprehensive test preparatory services for students preparing for Medical (NEET) and Engineering Entrance Examinations (JEE), School/Board Exams and Competitive Exams such as NTSE, KVPY, and Olympiads.
