Tech giant Samsung on Friday announced early deliveries of its most advanced AI-driven smartphone lineup, the Samsung Galaxy S26 series, for customers who pre-booked the devices in India.

The Galaxy S26 series — comprising the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, Samsung Galaxy S26+, and Samsung Galaxy S26 — introduces what the company calls the world’s first built-in Privacy Display for mobile phones. The lineup also brings agentic AI capabilities designed to quietly handle routine tasks so users can focus on more important activities.

“Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 platform, Galaxy S26 Ultra promises significant gains in CPU, GPU and NPU performance in a slim 7.9mm design. The device also supports Super-Fast Charging 3.0, enabling up to 75 per cent charge in just 30 minutes,” Samsung said in a statement.

The Galaxy S26 Ultra also introduces major camera upgrades, including wider apertures for improved low-light photography and enhanced Nightography Video for brighter, clearer footage in dim conditions.

The device’s upgraded Super Steady technology ensures more stable framing during video recording. Samsung has also enhanced its AI image signal processing (ISP), extending improvements to the selfie camera for more natural skin tones and finer detail even in mixed lighting environments.

Notably, the smartphone is the first Galaxy device to support the Advanced Professional Video (APV) standard, enabling efficient compression of high-quality video.

Across the lineup, Samsung has upgraded AI editing tools and introduced real-time features such as Now Brief and enhanced Circle to Search. The series also offers deeper integration with AI assistants including Bixby, Gemini, and Perplexity AI.

Security remains a key focus, with features such as Private Album, Samsung Knox Matrix protection, along with seven generations of OS upgrades and seven years of security updates.

The Galaxy S26 series is currently available for pre-order across major online and offline retail outlets in India until March 10, 2026. The Galaxy S26 Ultra starts at ₹1,39,999, while the Galaxy S26+ is priced from ₹1,19,999. The base Galaxy S26 variant starts at ₹87,999.

All three models feature a unified design language and are available in four colour options — Cobalt Violet, White, Black and Sky Blue.
