Samsung unleashes Galaxy Book6 with 30-hour battery and powerful on-device AI at CES 2026
Samsung Electronics on Tuesday unveiled the Galaxy Book6 Ultra, Galaxy Book6 Pro and Galaxy Book6 at CES 2026, introducing its most advanced Galaxy Book lineup to date.
Designed to elevate AI-powered productivity, the new Galaxy Book6 series combines high-performance computing, immersive visuals and audio, and a slim, precision-engineered design.

Engineered for Unmatched Performance
The Galaxy Book6 series pairs cutting-edge hardware with immersive visuals and audio in a slim, portable form factor. Powered by Intel® Core™ Ultra Series 3 processors—the first client system-on-chips built on Intel’s 18A process—the laptops deliver high-speed CPU, GPU and NPU performance for seamless multitasking and responsive on-device AI.
Built on Intel’s 1.8-nanometer-class node, the new processors feature up to 16 performance and efficiency cores, delivering up to 60% faster CPU performance compared to the previous generation. An integrated NPU capable of up to 50 TOPS enables AI-driven tasks such as image cleanup, instant translation and intelligent search without relying on cloud processing.
Galaxy Book6 Ultra further enhances creative and gaming capabilities with NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 5070 and 5060 Laptop GPUs, enabling high-speed AI image generation, smooth video editing and immersive gaming experiences.
Advanced Thermal Design and Battery Life
To support sustained high performance, Samsung introduced an advanced cooling architecture. A newly optimized vapor chamber—used for the first time in the Pro series—and redesigned airflow system deliver efficient heat dissipation while maintaining quiet operation.
Galaxy Book6 Ultra features a larger vapor chamber, expanded fin surface area and a newly added dual-path outlet fan and heatsink. The redesigned fan improves airflow and heat release while minimizing noise through Samsung’s proprietary uneven blade spacing technology. Overall cooling efficiency has improved by up to 35% compared to the previous generation.
Despite the powerful hardware, Galaxy Book6 Ultra and Pro deliver Samsung’s longest-lasting Galaxy Book battery yet, offering up to 30 hours of video playback. Super-fast charging restores up to 63% battery life in just 30 minutes.
Brighter, Smarter Displays and Immersive Audio
Galaxy Book6 Ultra and Pro feature a significantly upgraded Dynamic AMOLED 2X touchscreen display with HDR peak brightness of up to 1,000 nits and SDR brightness of 500 nits. Vision Booster technology adapts visuals based on ambient lighting, while advanced anti-reflective coating minimizes glare.
The displays are certified with True Bright 1300 and True Black 0.0005 nits for exceptional contrast and color accuracy. An adaptive refresh rate from 30Hz to 120Hz ensures smooth visuals for gaming, streaming and creative work. Corning® Gorilla® Glass with DXC enhances durability and reduces surface reflections by up to 75%.
Audio performance matches the visual experience. Galaxy Book6 Ultra features a six-speaker system with Dolby Atmos®, including four force-canceling woofers and two tweeters for rich, distortion-free sound. Galaxy Book6 Pro models feature optimized speaker placement for clear vocals and enhanced bass.
Slim, Balanced Design
Through meticulous internal and external redesign—including a wider vapor chamber, thinner fan, refined bezels and a redesigned hinge—the Galaxy Book6 series achieves a slimmer and more portable profile. Galaxy Book6 Ultra measures just 15.4mm thick, while Galaxy Book6 Pro 16-inch measures 11.9mm.
The design features clean, symmetrical lines, Galaxy’s signature curved corners and a centered logo. A centrally aligned two-tone keyboard and haptic touchpad enhance comfort, balance and precision, while an optimized PCB layout improves weight distribution and long-term reliability.
Galaxy AI for All-Day Productivity
Galaxy Book6 integrates powerful computing with Galaxy AI to deliver seamless on-device and cloud-based intelligence. AI Select allows users to select text or content on the touchscreen and instantly access insights, while AI Cut Out enables quick background removal from images.
Natural language search helps users quickly locate files, photos or settings, while Note Assist summarizes and translates notes for easier collaboration. Storage Share, Link to Windows, Multi Control and Second Screen enable seamless connectivity across Galaxy phones, tablets and PCs for efficient multitasking.

The Galaxy Book6 series is protected by Samsung Knox multi-layered security and Windows 11 secured-core PC features. Each device undergoes rigorous durability testing, and Samsung Care+ offers coverage for accidental damage, repairs and replacements.
