Smartur.com launches online national proficiency test

Kolkata, Oct 30 (IBNS): Smartur.com, a digital education solutions company, has announced its 'Smartur.com National Proficiency Test (SNPT)' for students of classes 1st to 10th at the National Level, available on www.smartur.com.
Starting this year students of these classes can test themselves in the science modules along with the mathematics module which they have used to test themselves last year.
 
Parents of children who take these tests, will now additionally benefit with access to hi-level analytics that can help them identify very specific topics or sub-topics that their children need to focus or pay attention to - based on how they perform on these tests.
 
Last year ‘Smartur.com Maths Proficiency Test (SMPT)’ was launched. It is the largest online maths contest in India and is a proficiency test based on cutting edge automated testing methodology and covers Maths topics at great depth. 
 
This year Smartur.com has introduced the Science proficiency module using similar technology, thereby helping students to test themselves on Science proficiency too.
 
Commenting on the success of the earlier edition of the test, Neeraj Jewalkar, Founder & CEO of Smartur.com said, “ Last year we have had over 5 million questions answered by almost 10,000 students from 18 states in the country – this is  testimony to the relevance and need for such initiatives that help make learning interesting and effective for students and give parents and teachers in-depth understanding of each student’s strengths and weaknesses, actionable insights into areas of improvement and visible clarity on progress achieved”
 
The key features of this online tool are instant real-time scoring and ranking, detailed performance reports and suggestions for improvements to parents by emails, SMS alerts on targets and progress, preparatory worksheets with detailed solutions and awesome rewards for top rankers.
 
The contest is being held separately for each class. Students of each class will compete with students from across the country belonging to the same class. The topics for the contest are based on NCERT CBSE curriculum. 
 
The contest is open till May 31, 2015 and students can sign up anytime before the end date and participate in the contest. 
 
The results will be declared formally by 15th June 2015. The test is loaded with  rewards to motivate students to give their best. Apple iPad, Lenovo Laptop, Microsoft Kinect and lots of tablets, cameras and other alluring awards await the enthusiastic ones.
