Solo art exhibition in Kolkata

Kolkata, August 6 (IBNS):A solo exhibition of paintings by artist Aditi Chakraborty is being held at Novotel in Kolkata where art lovers can witness some of the creations of her creative mind.

Artist Aditi Chokroborty has 10 solo exhibitions and more than 50 curated shows to her credit in India, Nepal, Korea, Indonesia, with a collector base in 15 countries.

The exhibition is displaying 31 abstract and semi-abstract canvas paintings in oil and acrylic medium..

Aditi Chakraborty told IBNS: "I mostly draw my inspiration from my essential roots to Indian culture and nature intermingled with the major event and experience of my life. The current body of my work in oil is the result of my nine years long relentless experimentation with forms and fragments and my passionate involvement with life and nature. "

"I never draw or plan beforehand, the whole process is sponteneousand like a quest. Once the job is finished, I like to leave it to people's imagination and feelings," she added.
