Kolkata/IBNS: Tollywood actor Vikram Chatterjee has recently launched a boating facility at The CREEK Club at Pailan, Kolkata.

The boating activity was launched on the occasion of Poila Boishakh or Bengali New Year on Apr 15.

One can hear no car horns blowing all day, instead it's replaced with the chirping of the birds in an eco-friendly environment.

Among many facilities present at the place, the city dwellers can enjoy delicious food, live in small cottages surrounded by a lake where a fleet of boats are made available for the guests.

On the occasion of launching their boating service, Baby Saha, Director of The CREEK Club said, "We are delighted to announce a plethora of outdoor activities at The CREEK Club this summer! We are following all health protocols in our pursuit of providing the best service and unadulterated fun to all the patrons.”

Additionally, she mentioned, “Boating is truly a fun activity for the family to indulge in and we are sure they will all enjoy very much.”

Vikram on his experience about The Creek Club said, "It’s a great experience, I did fishing, boating and played some billiards. They have their own vegetation here and some great cottages to stay in.”

“We all love enjoying our weekends. This club is really close from the city and I would love to take my friends here on a weekend, spend some time here and leave after lunch on a Sunday,” he added.

Reminiscing about how he feels about working on Poila Boishakh, he said, “While it’s great to be working at this time of the year, I really miss spending time with my family and being together.”
