Kolkata, May 27 (IBNS) Terapanth Professional Forum (TPF), a charitable fund has declared on Wednesday about its 100% scholarship for promising students all over India through 'Udaan'.

With its social welfare program, this project is aiming to provide higher  education to those meritorious students, who cannot pursue their studies for financial crisis and might be forced to discontinue their education. This cashless education initiative, Udaan provides direct help for admission.

Terapanth Professional Forum (TPF) is an organization of professionals from the Jain Community. Its objective is to use its expertise, experience and knowledge to serve the society at large in areas of education, health, law and enterprise. It endeavors to act as an enabler and catalyst to improve the quality of life for the members of the society at large and currently has 20 branches.

The convener of the project ‘Udaan’ Pradip Chopra said, “Our vision is to make it a 100x scheme i.e. Education worth 100 times the cost of running the scheme is delivered to soceity. For example, if we spend Rs 10 lacs, we will get and allocate education seats whose total value of tution fee waiver would tantamount to Rs 10 crores. Assuming a cost of Rs 3 lacs for a 3-4 year course, the same would be achieved by doing 300 plus seats every year. Ultimately we plan to reach 1000 seats across India with a value of Rs 25 crores in the next 3 years.”
