XLRI Jamshedpur to hold its National HR Conference virtually this year

Jamshedpur/IBNS: Jamshedpur-based XLRI- Xavier School of Management will hold the 10th edition of its National HR Conference virtually on February 20 and 21 this year.

The theme for this year is ‘Driving Agility in the Evolving Post-Covid World’.

The Conference is being organised by the Students Association for Promotion of Personnel Management, Human Resources, and Industrial Relations (SAPPHIRE).

The intent is to provide a platform for corporate leaders from various industries, academicians and legal practitioners to discuss and debate on the various challenges in India’s changing HR landscape.

There will be a special address by Professor Wayne Brockbank from Ross Business School, Michigan on the topic ‘The Way Forward For The Industries In the Aftermath of COVID-19’ on February 20.

The two panel discussions planned as a part of the two-day event are –‘Rethinking Employer Branding & Employee Experience in Dispersed Workplace’ and ‘People Analytics: The Power of Digital in Driving Organisational Competitiveness’.

R. P. Srivastava, Director (Personnel & IR) Coal India; Ira Gupa, Head HR, Microsoft India; Rohit Thakur, CHRO, Paytm; Prakash Singh, Chief- Capability Development, Tata Steel; Amit Vaish, Director-HR, Barclays; and Daisy Chittilapilly, Managing Director of DTO, Cisco India will be a participating in the first panel while Lakshmi C, MD, HR Lead, Accenture India; Krish Shankar, Group Head HR, Infosys; Prriti Narain, Market HR Leader, Google India; Krishna R, Chief People Officer, Flipkart; and Anuranjita Kumar, Founder & CEO, WIT-ACE will be participating in the second panel.

On Day-1, the panel discussion will be followed by a workshop by Sidharath Tuli, on the topic ‘Employer Branding- The Making of a Preferable Employer’.

On Day-2, there will be a Guest Address by Anuradha Razdan, Executive Director-HR, HUL, followed by a workshop by Avijit Shastri on the topic ‘HR Analytics: The Growing Importance of HR Metrics in a Post-Covid Scenario’.

The grand finale of the annual HR quizzing league of SAPPHIRE- Battle HR Royale and a three-legged event- HR Triathlon are special attractions for the students.
