40 including students and professor test Covid-19 positive in IIM Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad/IBNS: Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad has reported 40 cases of coronavirus infection, including students and a professor, said a media report.

"As many as 40 people including students and a professor -- were found positive in tests conducted at the institute and they were isolated," said Mehul Acharya, deputy health officer, Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation, reported new agency ANI.

Most of them are asymptomatic and recovering fast, he added.

Twenty-five students at the Indian Institute of Technology, Gandhinagar were also found to be COVID-19 positive, the ANI report added.
