4.4 earthquake hits Haryana, tremors in Delhi

New Delhi, Nov 17 (IBNS): An earthquake measuring 4.4 on the Richter Scale hit Haryana on Thursday as the tremors of it were felt in national Capital New Delhi on Thursday.

As per the  Indian Meteorological Department, the quake hit at Rajasthan-Haryana border.

The epicentre of the quake, which hit at a depth of 10 kms and at 4:28 hrs, was located at Latitude 27.8 degrees north and  Longitude 76.7 degrees east.

The IMD website described the intensity of the quake as 'slight'.


No casualty and damage to property have been reported so far.
