8-yr-old injured in mysterious explosion in J&K's Poonch

Jammu, Apr 26 (UNI): An eight-year-old boy was injured in a mysterious low intensity explosion in Kalaban village of Mendhar in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday.

Ishaq, 8, son of Mohammad Ashraf Ahmed, resident of Kalaban village, a student of third class, was reportedly playing near his house and was fiddling with some suspicious object, which suddenly exploded.

The boy received injury in his hands and was rushed to the hospital where he was provided immediate first and discharged.

Meanwhile, police have started the investigations.
