Abducted by ISIS, Indian priest seeks help from PM Modi, Pope

New Delhi, Dec 26 (IBNS): Father Tom Uzhunnalil, who was abducted by the Islamic State from Yemen in March this year, has appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Pope Francis to help him get his release from the terror group.

Uzhunnalil belongs to Kerala.

In a video message, Uzhunnalil said as he was an Indian, he was being ignored by the concerned Christian authorities.

Responding to his video request, the government said it is doing everything possible to help Father Tom.
