Amaravati, Apr 22 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said that the administration of the state should not be crippled in the name of election code of conduct and asked elected representatives to focus of drinking water scarcity and other problems.

The Chief Minister held a meeting on drinking water crisis and other issues with the elected representatives of Telugu Desam party here on Monday.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that the elections concluded in the state all elected representatives should focus on addressing the problems of people.

He asked them to take the problems to the notices of district Collector and strive to get resolved.

He asked them to strive to resolve the drinking water crisis as like as normal days as the code of conduct could not prevent them addressing the grievances of people. The ECI should give specific orders to carry out general administration to ensure that the progress of the state would not come to a halt, he opined.

Expressing grief over the bomb blasts in Sri Lanka, the Chief Minister said all should condemn the killing of innocent people. Meanwhile TDP sources said that the Chief Minister also reviewed the pattern of polling held in the state.
