Raipur, Oct 28 (IBNS) : A day after the arrest of senior journalist Vinod Verma's arrest on extortion charge that kicked up a conspiracy row, Chhattisgarh police have filed an FIR against the Pradesh Congress President Bhupesh Baghel, who said he possesses a copy of a sex CD purportedly featuring a minister, NDTV reported.

According to reports, the FIR has been filed following a complaint by the minister, Rajesh Munat.

Munat has called the CD "fake" and said it can be investigated by any agency.

On Friday, Vinod Verma, an independent journalist and a member of the Editors Guild of India, was arrested  by the Chhattisgarh police  allegedly after they recovered CDs with "objectionable contents" from his home in Ghaziabad, near Delhi.

The Chhattisgarh government has claimed Verma was working with the opposition Congress to discredit the state's BJP government.
